More Mysterious Things in 'Haven' Season 2 Trailer
June 02, 2011 03:06:01Syfy has debuted a new promo for "Haven" season 2 via AOL TV in anticipation of its July 15 premiere. While it does not reveal the storyline, the trailer does offer glimpses of more strange things happening in a town where Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) is assigned to.
As the female cop continues her investigation in the small town of Haven, Maine which is a refuge for those with supernatural powers, she will delve deeper into her mysterious past. Together with Nathan Wuornos (Lucas Bryant) and Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour), Audrey tries to find explanation about The Troubles.

Jason Priestley Goes to 'Haven', Thomas Dekker Joins 'Secret Circle'
March 11, 2011 08:03:41Jason Priestley and Thomas Dekker have both landed roles on TV. The former, who has been staying behind the camera for several years, is to do a four-episode stint on Syfy's "Haven" while the latter, whose last show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" got canceled, would take a regular role in The CW's new pilot "Secret Circle".
In "Haven", Priestley would play Chris Weekly, a brilliant, principled but anti-social marine biologist who must deal with an affliction most would consider a blessing. TV Line said his arc falls during the show's upcoming second season. In addition, he has also signed up to direct an episode of the supernatural drama.

Deep in the heart of Maine, Haven is a town where people with supernatural abilities have migrated for generations because it mutes their powers, allowing them to lead normal lives. At least, until recently. When hot-shot FBI agent Audrey Parker is called to Haven to solve the murder of a local ex-con, she catches the killer but uncovers a much deeper mystery about this town.

May 24, 2010 02:05:03A new promo for SyFy's upcoming series "Haven" has been out for viewing pleasure. Using The Heavy's song "Short Change Hero" as a theme song, this clip shows how people live in Maine, Haven, a place where everyone's hiding something, whether they know it or not.
Based on Stephen King's novella "The Colorado Kid", this TV series stars Emily Rose, Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant. It is scheduled to be premiered in July and will be "full of complex, yet identifiable, characters and compelling supernatural situations."

SyFy Developing Stephen King's Novella to TV Series
December 01, 2009 01:12:12One of Stephen King's novellas will be transformed into a television series by SyFy. The cable channel has ordered 13 episodes to be made based on King's "The Colorado Kid", Mark Stern, Executive Vice President, Original Content for SyFy announced on Monday, November 30. The series will be titled "Haven" and its production will be in motion early 2010.
"Haven", according to the press release, is "full of complex, yet identifiable, characters and compelling supernatural situations." The pilot is written by Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn aka "Shrek the Third" scribes. "Sam and Jim wrote a great pilot, and we can't wait to see Scott [Shepherd], Lloyd [Segan], and Shawn [Piller] join them in bringing this town to life as a series," Stern said in making the announcement.
