'The Governator' on Hold Due to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Personal Issues
May 20, 2011 02:05:28"The Governator" is reportedly the latest victim of Arnold Schwarzenegger's marital woe. Contrary to previous report that the former California governor's infidelity scandal would not affect the TV series, a rep for the project has just said that "Governator" is now on hold.
"In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics, and Archie Comics, have chosen to not go forward with the Governator project," the rep told TMZ. It is not clear whether the project is completely dead or is just postponed until the buzz regarding Schwarzenegger's personal issues is over.

Claiming that he will only be a private citizen, Arnold slips into his "Super Suits" when a crime threatens the city. The trailer gives a glimpse of the superhero in action as he fights the bad guys in form of evil robots.

March 31, 2011 09:03:05The secret Arnold Schwarzenegger TV project which was announced earlier this month has now been unveiled. The Terminator and former California Governor is made a cartoon superhero going by the name "The Governator". The developer of the TV show and its comic book version is none other than Stan Lee.
In an interview with EW, Schwarzenegger explained the source of his superhero moniker, saying, "When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about 'the Governator,' I thought the word was so cool." He continued, "The word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together. It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the True Lies..."
