Alex is finally able to have her first real date with Dean, but she has to run out in the middle of it right after she kisses him when Max tries to prevent the "Deli Thief" from robbing the Waverly Sub Station and requires the help of her and Justin. The "Deli Thief" turns out to be the kids' dad, who staged the "robbery" in order to let the kids work together as a team.
