When Big Jim enacts a mandate to collect all of the guns in town, he ends up taking down an unhinged and heavily armed townsperson with Barbie's help. Once he successfully rounds up all of the firearms, a woman, Max Seagrave, is revealed to be the one behind the mandate and we learn she has a complicated relationship with both Barbie and Big Jim. Max threatens to expose their secrets if the two do not aid in her plan to create a black market in Chester's Mill. When Linda is tipped off to the existence of a makeshift drug with an active ingredient of liquid propane, she investigates the propane warehouse and stumbles upon security camera footage of Duke exchanging money with Max. After Angie experiences the same seizure Joe and Norrie had, Junior shows her a painting of pink stars falling above him as a child as painted and imagined by his late mother. When the Mini-Dome goes missing, Joe, Norrie and Angie discover it has been mysteriously relocated to Joe's barn and speculate there is a fourth person having seizures who is connected to the dome.
