Calvin Norburg texts Martin, wanting to meet. Guillermo Ortiz, the murderer, is in New York tracking the Bohms. Amelia adds the number 5991 to her sequence.

Jake insists on taking a red umbrella to school, even though it's not raining. He gives Martin the number 5991. Jake's backpack cellphone rings: It's their friend Abraham, checking in after Jake called him three times last night (but didn't speak). After Abraham hangs up, we see Guillermo shadowing him.

Calvin gives Martin his laptop and Mallory Cane's red-level passcard, so Martin can download Calvin's files from the server in Room 1075. He warns Martin to stay away from the office of his former partner, Tony Rigby, who won't play nice if Martin gets caught. They'll meet back here at 4.

Guillermo approaches Abraham, saying he knows about the Righteous 36, and that Jake is one of them. Suspicious, Abraham says he doesn't know where Jake is, and Guillermo says if Abraham changes his mind, he's at the Middleton Hotel, Room 5991.

At school, Soleil warns a friendly kid that Jake doesn't like being touched. But when Jake finds an escaped classroom rabbit, the kids give him congratulatory pats . . . and he likes it.

The servers are gone from Room 1075, so Martin approaches Rigby and admits Calvin's helping him with a story, but bluffs that he thinks Calvin's accusations of the company's criminal behavior are insane and promises to write a story that will exonerate them. For a price. Rigby has Martin download the files and return the laptop to Calvin - but he secretly puts a tracking device on it and later pinpoints Calvin's location.

Lucy discovers that Frederick LeMay and Rosemary Mathis were savants who were murdered the same way as Claudia Corliss.

Amelia's handler tracks her brainwaves as she predicts where the balls will land in an old-fashioned Pachinko game. She's far more accurate than the supercomputer; in fact, she's teaching the supercomputer.

Abraham sneaks into Guillermo's hotel room and finds the file containing Jake's picture. Guillermo catches him, revealing he's a Jesuit priest on a mission to destroy the 36, so the natural order of God can be restored. But, says Abraham, their very existence proves to God that the world's worth saving. Abraham warns that if Guillermo kills someone who's not a 36, he'll simply be a godless murderer, so Guillermo lets Abraham leave.

Some records among Calvin's files make Martin realize that he's got Amelia. He tells Lucy, saying he's meeting Calvin later. She wants to tell the police, but he protests. Lucy goes to the police anyway. But they find Amelia's death report and don't believe her.

Amelia's handler tells Calvin about another kid they wanted: Jake Bohm. But his dad freaked out and ran. With two of them, their progress would be exponential. Calvin sees a picture in Jake's file and realizes who Martin really is.

Martin and Calvin confront each other. Calvin warns that if anything happens to him or Amelia, Jake will be gone.

Martin picks up Jake from school, and Abraham phones Jake. He tells Martin about Guillermo Ortiz and the murdered 36 . . . and that Guillermo had Jake's picture. As they head home, it starts raining.

Later, Martin tells Lucy most of what he's learned but says Calvin didn't show for their meeting. When he admits he feared she'd go to the police, she says she didn't.
