Councilman Aceveda hasn't missed a beat and is trying to have himself appointed as head of the City Council's police committee - which will keep him involved with the new taskforce Captain Rawling has instituted. Vic is working a rape case and enlists Shane and Army to help with the search for the perpetrator. The DA's office requests that Claudette and Dutch work on having a 60-year-old man with no record busted for selling drugs. Dutch is eager to get back into a hard-hitting case, but Claudette senses that they're being set-up.
