Ignoring his wife and doctor by heading back to work too soon after being shot, Vic's investigation into a murder reveals that the killer used a badge stolen from Shane in Mexico. With Aceveda agreeing to let him and his men go undercover as dirty cops, Vic traces the stolen badge to Hrach, an Armenian fence who offers to give up Alex Eznik, a mobster responsible for a mammoth money laundering operation. And after convincing Eznik that he is corrupt, he offers to kill Hrach as proof. As Aceveda struggles to head off the lawsuit against Danny, Claudette and Dutch connect the owner of a murder weapon to loan shark Manny Sandoval.
