Parks and Recreation Episode 6.20 One in 8,0000

The Unity Concert Committee is busily collecting items for a charity auction to raise funds for the Unity Concert. Ben and Leslie excuse themselves early for a secret visit to Dr. Saperstein's office for a routine pregnancy check-up. Before they leave, they check with Andy to be sure that he hasn't divulged their secret to anyone. Luckily, Andy has been a steel trap, but the secret is eating him alive. It's only a matter of time before he explodes in a fury of truth-telling.

Meanwhile, Ron solicits Donna for a favor. He's heading to his kids' elementary school to help with preparations for a school play, and he would like Donna to assist with costume design. Donna agrees to go with Ron, but only if he runs interference with Donna's ex-boyfriend, Joe, who she considers her "Tammy." Ron completely understands.

Back at the office, Andy consults his to-do list, which is written in marker on his arms. April notices a note that reads, "Don't Tell Secret" and becomes hell-bent on finding out what Andy is concealing. At Dr. Saperstein's office, Ben and Leslie learn some terrifying information: they're having triplets! Ben immediately begins to panic. Dr. Saperstein warns Ben and Leslie that it's important for them to avoid stress, especially with triplets on the way.

At a birthday party, April continues trying to pry Andy's secret out of him. Andy lies and tells April that Larry is dying, and April immediately feels sorry for him. For the rest of the party, April goes out of her way to be kind to Larry, who is none the wiser. Finally, Andy can't take it anymore. He tells April that he lied about Larry's terminal illness, but he still refuses to divulge his secret.

At the elementary school, Ron meets Donna's ex, Joe. He's the nicest person in the entire world, but Ron is naturally distrustful. After Joe repeatedly demonstrates unbelievable feats of kindness, Ron finally questions Donna about her relationship with him. Donna explains that Joe is, in fact, the nicest person in the world, but that it interferes with her exciting single lifestyle. When she's with Joe, she spends all of her time eating healthy home-cooked meals and being a mature adult. Ron reminds Donna that sometimes a transition toward stability is okay.

After spending the entire day trying to keep Leslie relaxed, Ben finally cracks. He's been crunching the numbers (he's an accountant, after all) and triplets are going to completely ruin their finances. In the midst of Ben's full-fledged panic attack, Leslie begins cracking wise. She's not having any trouble staying calm because she knows that, as long as she's with Ben, everything is going to be just fine.

With a renewed sense of ease, Ben and Leslie finally announce the exciting news to the rest of the gang. Andy is elated that he finally managed to keep a secret, and everyone immediately chimes in with ways to assist Ben and Leslie. Larry and his wife have tons of baby stuff from their three children, Ron offers to make a triplet crib, Donna has a hook-up at the town's best preschools
