Having just been fired from his Sweetums job, Ben was quick to secure a new position at his old accounting firm. However, he finds himself with a week of free time in between jobs and decides to dedicate his entire being to the creation of a complex, multifaceted role-playing board game called "The Cones of Dunshire." After Ben provides an exhaustive explanation of the game, Leslie helps him realize that he wasted an entire week of his life.

Back at the office, Ron tells the staff that he's interested in selling his cabin. Luckily, Donna recently got her real estate license, and she's more than willing to help Ron flip his cabin with some assistance from Tom. Meanwhile, Leslie continues to have problems with fellow councilman Jamm. She enlists help from Chris to win her final battle with Jamm before she's forced to resign.

Ben returns to his old accounting firm, where he has resigned and been rehired numerous times. Despite his spotty track record, the old gang is ecstatic to see him again. At Ron's cabin, Donna and Tom get to work sprucing up the place, much to Ron's chagrin. Luckily, April is around to keep Ron distracted while Donna and Tom defile his cherished cabin.

Leslie and Chris head to Jamm's condo to persuade him to protect funds allocated for a super park in the future. They're appalled by Jamm's offensively Asian-themed condo, but they're willing to stay the night if that's what it takes to get Jamm on their side.

At the cabin, April does her best to convince a pair of hipsters that Ron's cabin is the most ironic place they could ever live. Ron is horrifically unimpressed by his potential cabin buyers. After a hipster pushes him to the edge with a comment about his mustache, Ron terminates the open house.

Meanwhile, as Ben bewilders his fellow accountants with some relatively simple accounting strategy, Chris officiates Leslie and Jamm's attempt to come to an agreement regarding the park fund. Refusing to leave without a victory, Leslie is even willing to perform karaoke with her worst enemy to get his blessing.

After an entire day of failed pandering to Jamm's needs, Leslie confesses to Chris that she's hoping to keep Ann in Pawnee by starting a new park project. Chris tells Leslie that Ann has already signed a lease on a house in Ann Arbor, and Chris has already applied for a new job at the University of Michigan. With her real victory out of reach, Leslie abandons the Jamm party to head home empty-handed. Luckily, Jamm is unaware that Chris is quitting his job soon, so Leslie promises five favors from Chris during his next term in exchange for Jamm's cooperation. She jammed Jamm!

Later, Donna informs Ron that she sold his cabin for thousands over the asking price, but Ron isn't interested in money. April offers to buy Ron's cabin for the contents of her purse, promising Ron that she'll use it as Ron intended the cabin to be used. Ron happily agrees to turn the cabin over to April.

Ben's accounting firm hosts a party for him after his first day, cherishing him as an accounting hero. Unfortunately, Chris suggests that Ben take over his position as City Planner, and Ben happily accepts the offer. He will, however, have to quit his accounting job... again. As a parting gift, Ben introduces his fellow accountants to The Cones of Dunshire, and they absolutely love it.
