Wendy provides Nico and Victory a list of what items to bring to Thanksgiving dinner. Victory tries to pass on the dinner, but Nico and Wendy don't let her off easily.

Victory is trying to keep herself busy at work, but there doesn't seem to be much to work on. Roy tries to keep her preoccupied, but she pushes him off to the airport to catch his flight for his Thanksgiving holiday. However, just before Roy leaves, he lets in a new customer who wants Victory to design a dress: a wedding dress.

Wendy and Shane unpack the groceries from the local market for their Thanksgiving dinner. At Nico's, she and Kirby are headed out the door just as Megan pays them a visit with baby Charlie. Megan asks a huge favor of Nico. Megan needs her to watch baby Charlie so that she can go home to her parents for the holiday - they don't know she had a baby. Promising to tell her parents everything and come back for Charlie the next day, Kirby encourages Nico to do Megan the favor.

Victory is getting the dress details from her new and unexpected client. He has asked her to design a wedding dress for his fiance. They were recommended to Victory by Dahlia. When he tells Victory that he needs the wedding dress that weekend, Victory is thrilled as it provides her the excuse she needed to skip out on Wendy's holiday dinner.

At Nico's, both she and Kirby try everything to stop baby Charlie from crying. While Kirby tries to distract Charlie with his dancing skills, Nico tries to rock him, but nothing seems to be working. Victory calls Wendy to tell her she won't be able to make it to Thanksgiving dinner because of her new demanding client. Wendy, upset with Victory, then gets a call from Nico looking for tips on calming babies.

Wendy's mom Joyce arrives for Thanksgiving with her judgmental attitude in tow. While Wendy deals with her mother, Shane takes a call from Josie, his manager. Josie is worried about her sick dog and out of pity, Shane invites her to Thanksgiving dinner. Joyce stirs up the issue by questioning Shane's motives for taking his manager's call on a family holiday.

Back at Victory's, Dahlia brings the bride to meet with her for the dress fitting. However, to Victory's surprise, the woman is not a slender dancer as described by her fiance. Victory thinks quickly on her feet to adjust the dress, realizing she has offended the bride. Victory is now certain this was a setup, as payback from Dahlia.

At Nico's, Kirby and Nico realize that Megan still hasn't called to check on Charlie. Nico calls Megan several times looking for answers on when she will get there.

Victory is meeting with her bride Kelly again to try on the new dress she put together. She apologies for making some wrong assumptions about Kelly's body type, but reminds her that her fiance thinks she's the most beautiful person to him. And in the end, that is what matters; not the dress, not the wedding, but their love for each other.

Shane is released from jail after paying a fine. Victory and Dahlia enjoy a Thanksgiving beverage after calling a truce. Wendy begins Thanksgiving dinner at home without her husband. When Shane gets home, Victory and Dahlia also join the Healy holiday fun. Nico and Kirby have a challenging conversation over baby Charlie and what each of them want.

After everyone has left, Wendy and Shane finally enjoy some time alone.
