Victory and Rodrigo can't keep their hands off each other. Nico and Kirby keep the flames burning. Rodrigo asks Victory to meet his daughter, a huge step for him. Nico asks Kirby to attend a fundraiser with her as her boyfriend.

Wendy makes pancakes for Nico and Victory, both of whom are worried about her. Wendy is trying to stay positive about the recent work situation. Nico heads back to the office, to find her father standing there. Apparently her brother is in trouble and her dad can't make his bail. He wants Nico's help to find an attorney and to make things right.

Wendy is working on her home computer to schedule a few appointments to pass the time. Victory Ford is at a photo shoot for an anti-litter campaign. Nico takes Kirby shopping at Ralph Lauren for a suit to wear to the fundraiser event. Nico confides in him about the situation with her brother.

Victory rushes home after her photo shoot to find Rodrigo and his daughter waiting her porch. She apologizes for being late, but his daughter isn't pleased. They sit down for dinner, but Victory is struggling to make headway with his daughter. She is closed off and won't give an inch.

Nico pays her brother a visit in jail. They exchange unpleasant remarks and then her brother tries to apologize for stealing from her. He tells her he's innocent despite the audio tapes the DA's office has obtained. Wendy has gone to pick up Taylor at school when she runs into a few of the other moms. After confirming with one of them, Wendy discovers that Maddie has lied to her again.

Victory has made Rodrigo's daughter a backpack, but he encourages her to give the relationship some time and then she can give her some gifts. At home, Wendy confronts Maddie about her lie. Wendy sends her directly to her room. Shane encourages Wendy to be honest with her about getting fired.

Nico meets her father at their family restaurant. She lets him know he paid her brother a visit and hands over the bail money. However, she finds out her father had to sell the restaurant because of money troubles caused by her brother a few years back. Then back at the Bonfire offices, during a pitch meeting, a writer suggests a story about a "limo driver arrested on insider trading." Nico, knowing it's her brother, shoots down the story. The women then gather for lunch at Wendy's apartment.

Nico confronts Wendy during lunch about the choices that lost her the job. Victory fights back at both of them and takes the tension out of the lunch altogether. Dahlia pays Rodrigo a visit at the store to discuss the weekend event he will be attending with Victory. Nico pays her brother, now out of jail, a visit. He confesses to her that he is part of a larger plan and is supposed to keep his mouth closed. She begs him to come clean for their father's sake.

At Bonfire's Autism Speaks Benefit, Victory arrives with Rodrigo and his daughter just as Dahlia sweeps her away to walk the press line. Nico and Kirby find Victory wandering the party looking for her guests. Wendy, Shane and kids arrive. When Wendy spots Griffin she decides to return home and leave the family to enjoy the event.

Griffin pushes Nico on the story about the limo driver. She asks him to not pursue it and to let her make the editorial decisions for her magazine. Victory finds Rodrigo and his daughter, who have decided to call it quits for the night, and head home. Victory is upset over the gap growing between them, but she must stay to do interviews about her upcoming store opening.

Shane and the kids arrive home to find Wendy falling apart. She sobs into Shane's arm just as Maddie opens their door to see her breakdown. Wendy sits Maddie and Taylor down to tell them she didn't quit her job, she was fired. Surprisingly, Maddie defends her decision and tells her mom she thought made a good decision about Noah.

The following day, Victory arrives at the store to talk to Rodrigo. Upset that he has judged her, she tells him she has two lives: the label and her actual life. She explains he can't go out just with one; everyone comes with baggage, even him. Nico pays her father a visit at the restaurant explaining that her brother must plead guilty, that the prosecutor promised her he wouldn't do time; they need his testimony more than jail time.

Nico's father apologies for the way he raised her and her brother. Nico offers to buy the restaurant back for her father as a gesture. After leaving the restaurant she takes Kirby around the neighborhood to show him where she grew up.
