Nico and Kirby are in the shower... together. Nico, on her lunch break, is enjoying Kirby's company. Back at work, Nico and Wendy share an elevator ride, but manage to stand on opposite ends and not even exchange a friendly smile.

Wendy walks into Parador's office to find Sal waiting for her. He is checking on the status of their new script, which Wendy assures him is on its way. The scriptwriter just seems to be taking longer than usual, and Wendy may have to pay her a personal visit just to check in. At Victory's, Roy is getting her ready for an impromptu staff meeting with Joe Bennett, who is sending over a car.

Joe is waiting for Victory in his car with chocolate and champagne. Joe's idea of a staff meeting consists of a trip to Milan to discuss business but Victory, not taking the bait, tells him to call her after he sells her company. Nico has taken both Victory and Charles to a basketball party hosted by the latest celebrities to grace the cover of Bonfire Magazine: hockey pro Parks and his girlfriend Kelly. Charles, not thrilled to be at the party, leaves to return home, leaving Nico with Victory. Parks and Kelly ask Victory to style them for the cover of Bonfire, a job she happily accepts.

Instead of attending the after party, Nico decided to spend the remainder of the evening with Kirby. While she's there, her cell phone rings several times. It's Charles, but she lets it go to voicemail, not thinking twice about it. After several calls, she finally picks up. Nico, suddenly scared, gets dressed quickly and rushes to leave. Kirby is concerned and asks her what happened. Just as she walks out, she tells him that Charles has had a heart attack.

After work, Wendy pays a visit to her scriptwriter Lorraine Litman, hoping to get a copy of the actual script, considering production is scheduled to start in a few weeks. Unable to steer the conversation to the script, Wendy realizes she is in for the long haul. Wendy, finally giving in, tells Lorraine she only has until the next day. Nico arrives at the hospital to check in on Charles. He is in the hospital bed with the doctor beside him. Nico is asked to sit in the waiting room while they finish some tests. Victory, out with Parks and Kelly, gets a call from Nico and rushes to the hospital.

Victory arrives at the hospital to comfort Nico. Nico, upset and feeling guilty, tells Victory that she was with Kirby, not Charles, when he had his heart attack. Victory assures her that it's what she does from this point forward that matters, as you can't change the past. Wendy rushes in and she and Nico embrace, putting the past behind them.

Wendy is leading a production meeting on their latest movie while she reassures the team that she expects a script today and to continue full steam ahead with the production start date. Victory is back at her house, meeting with Parks and Kelly to discuss the clothes for their cover shoot. Joe calls to discuss the latest fashion trends with Victory. Insulted by his interest, she tells him to go back to his real business, such as buying countries.

Victory, measuring Parks to get his inseam, is caught off guard when he places her hand in an unexpected place. Then while fitting Kelly, Victory lets her know that Parks made a pass. Kelly, wanting to clear things up, leans in and kisses her; Victory is completely caught off guard. Back at the hospital, Nico is with Charles as they share a tender moment expressing their love for each other despite the distance between them lately.

Wendy checks in with Josh on the status of Lorraine's script, but still nothing has arrived. Wendy then meets up with Victory to take "get well" gifts to Charles and Nico. Victory, intrigued by Kelly and Parks' offer to have a threesome, tells Wendy all about it. Back at the hospital, Nico returns with a newspaper and magazines for Charles and she runs into Megan, one of his students, the one that Nico met at the diner a few weeks back.

Wendy, Nico and Victory are discussing the note Nico found in the material Charles' student Megan dropped off, which said "Thanks for everything, miss you. M." Nico thinks that Charles might be having an affair with her; after all, Nico was a student of Charles' once and she ended up marrying him. After leaving the girls, Nico pays Kirby a visit. Victory heads over to Kelly and Parks' to discuss wardrobe choices, but clearly walks into the middle of something, as their breakfast order is next on the agenda.

Wendy pays Lorraine another visit to check in on the script. Lorraine expresses her concern about finishing the script to Wendy. Lorraine can't seem to get it done in fear that it will be the last one she ever writes. But Wendy decides to offer her a blind script deal with Parador, hoping that will inspire her to finish the script. Back at the hotel, Victory is with Parks and Kelly in the bedroom when everything falls apart. Apparently it isn't their first time offering up a threesome. Victory is uncomfortable and decides to leave the two of them to figure it out.

Nico, tired and and emotionally drained, tells Kirby that Charles may be having an affair, but that all she wants is to have her marriage back. Kirby, knowing what that means, just sits with her. As the sun rises, Lorraine finishes the script and hands it to Wendy, who has fallen asleep on her couch. Excited, Wendy heads out to turn in the script.

Back at home, Victory calls Joe to apologize and tell him that she wants him back in her life. But when she asks him to come over, she realizes he is not alone. Devastated, she hangs up.

Wendy sits with Nico at the hospital. Nico lets her know that she broke it off with Kirby. Even though she knows it was the right thing to do, it doesn't make it any easier. Roy arrives at work to find Victory upset and decides to cheer her up with breakfast. Wendy takes the script into the office. Nico lies in the hospital bed with Charles, listening to his heart beat.
