Synopsis

Korra and the Fire Ferrets are playing in the Pro-Bending tournament, against the Wolfbats, thanks to their sponsor, Hiroshi Sato. Mako is dating Asami Sato, much to Korra's disappointment. Discreetly consulting Jinora, Ikki and Pema for advice about what she should do, she decides to confess to him. After securing their place in the Quarter Finals, Korra declares her love to Mako, only for him to turn her down. Feeling rejected and bruised, Korra agrees to go on a "date" with Bolin, whose feelings for her are growing. During their "date", Bolin and Korra meet the Wolfbats, the reigning champions of the tournament and after a slightly disfunctional meeting, they leave. Mako confronts Korra about "leading Bolin on to get back at him", something Korra denies, the friendship becomes strained especially after Korra notices Mako is appearing jealous. The teams performance in the Quarter Finals is a mess and it's only due to Bolin winning the deciding round, do they make it through. Mako and Korra talk and he admits he likes her but that he also likes Asami. Korra kisses him with Mako kissing her back and Bolin sees, becoming heartbroken. During their last match, Bolin is injured and with Mako out, Korra has to fight three on one. She wins the round. Mako and Bolin patch things up between themselves and Korra, Mako and Bolin remain friends. While healing Bolin, the Wolfbats defeat their opponent in one round, seriously injuring them. Asami comes in to congratulate the Fire Ferrets and Korra thanks Asami for providing them with the chance to compete and Asami is touched by her words.
