Tess Chaykin (Mira Sorvino) a Manhattan archaeologist, reluctantly teams up with FBI agent Sean Daley (Scott Foley, "The Unit," "Felicity") to uncover the lost secrets of the legendary medieval Knights Templar. A historic thriller, The Last Templar" unravels a mystery that spans centuries, from present day New York City, to the ancient city of Acre in 1291 and back again. The miniseries also features Victor Garber ("Eli Stone," "Alias") as Monsignor De Angelis, a high-placed Vatican envoy. Veteran thespian Omar Sharif ("Doctor Zhivago," "Lawrence of Arabia") rounds out the all-star cast playing the role of Konstantin, a Greek savant who comes to the aid of Tess (Sorvino) and Daly (Foley).
