Kath & Kim Episode 1.12 Idols

Kath and Kim are excited for the release of Wynonna's new CD. Their enthusiasm is spotted by one of her music producers. He tells the ladies that Wynonna will be performing in Florida and part of their promotion is she'll have dinner at the home of her biggest fan and that home might be Kath and Kim's!

After witnessing all the rabid fans that lined up for the Wynonna CD, Craig and Derrick are convinced they can be country superstars, too. But, first, they have to write the perfect song about their lives. Craig gets frustrated with the songwriting process, but Derrick assures him that it's going to take some serious part-time dedication to write the perfect song.

Kath and Kim don their best country music outfits and Phil dresses up as a cowboy. Before they can be called Wynonna's biggest fans, they have to be interviewed by her producer, Jackson. Jackson brings along Wynonna's personal assistant, Holly. As Kath and Kim get dressed up to perform for their guests, Derrick and Craig take the time to perform a song for Holly and Jackson.

Kath and Kim come down dressed as The Judds, for Jackson and Holly. They also quiz each other on random Judd trivia. Jackson whispers to Holly that he's actually frightened of how big of fans Kath and Kim really are. Later on that day, Kath gets a phone call -- they were not chosen as Wynonna's biggest fans.

Phil can't help but feel guilty about Kath not being chosen as Wynonna's biggest fan. He says it's his fault, because Jackson could clearly see that Phil was not a fan. Phil was determined to make his lady love's dreams come true and convince Jackson to have Wynonna over for dinner. Craig is in on the mission.

Tina convinces Kim to make a DVD on why Wynonna should come over for dinner and greet her biggest fan, Kath. Kim is fascinated with Tina's idea and records the DVD. As Phil is being detained by security outside Wynonna's room, Tina takes her opportunity to slip Kim's DVD under the door.

Wynonna and her crew watch the DVD of Kim's pleas for her to come over and help her mother out of her depression. Wynonna finds Kim to be a hot mess, but asks Holly to send Kath some flowers on behalf of Wynonna. After meeting Phil outside, Wynonna realizes she needs to do more, and she instructs the tour bus to head over to Kath's house.

Phil comes home to find Kath preparing dinner. He tells her to be ready to do the heavy lifting in the bedroom that night because Phil is about to make her a very happy woman... and introduces Wynonna. Kath jumps for joy to find her idol in her kitchen. Wynonna has such a great time, she ends up staying to read the tabloids with Kath and Kim.
