Kath & Kim Episode 1.10 Florida

Kath becomes extremely upset when one of her oldest and dearest clients, Pearl, passes away while at the salon. She turns to Phil at the sandwich shop to find comfort in her sudden loss. She reminds Phil that life is short, which prompts him to want to help out Roland, an obese customer who is a regular at the sandwich shop.

Kim is still traumatized by being there when Pearl passed away. Craig makes her feel better by buying a shower CD player. Craig loves that he can spend money on Kim now that he's going to be rich with Ginger's puppies. Kath is shocked to find out that Kim hasn't told Craig the truth about how Ginger's puppies may not be purebred.

Kim is too depressed to go to Pearl's funeral, so Kath and Phil go alone. Craig stops by to try to win Kim back with a brand-new boat, hoping she will be impressed, since her conscience made her turn down the shower CD player. Kim becomes worried when Craig tells her the boat was bought with Ginger's puppy money.

Phil has taken it upon himself to help Roland lose weight. But, when Phil isn't around, Roland heads to the sandwich shop to order his regular greasy food. Phil catches him and tries to persuade him to put down the sandwiches. Roland ignores Phil's demands and walks away.

Kath and Kim head to the funeral home so Kath can do Pearl's hair before her burial. She is shocked to learn the family had her buried before Kath could work her magic. She just hopes that Pearl's spirit can forgive her for sending her into the afterlife with bangs.

Kath and Kim return home to find Craig on the floor with Ginger, who is in labor. Kath wants Kim to come clean to Craig about Ginger's puppies possibly not being purebred, because he's about to find out one way or the other.

Roland and his friends protest, claiming that Phil's Sandwich Shop is discriminating against fat people. Phil realizes that he can't change Roland, only Roland can change himself. Roland begins to see where Phil is coming from and wants to help improve his health on his own.

Craig is hugely disappointed when Ginger pops out puppies that aren't purebred. He tells the dog he can't even look at her because he feels betrayed. Kim wants Craig to lay off on the dog, but he insists he cannot trust her ever again. When he leaves, Kim admits she wants to adopt one of the mutts and name her "Pearl."
