Phil is happy that his best friend is in town visiting. He can't wait to introduce Sandy to his new life. Sandy meets Kath and instantly is drawn to her. Kath reminds Sandy about all of Phil's accomplishments since the last time they saw each other; for example, Phil's losing 200 pounds.
Craig gets back from his lunch break at work and finds Kim watching TV at one of the displays. His co-worker Derrick takes him aside and accuses Craig of being whipped. Kim whines for Craig to get her a lemonade and Craig does. Derrick feels he has made his point.
Kath isn't digging the way Sandy is treating his best friend. Suspicions grow more when Kath notices that Sandy even flirts with her in front of Phil. Kath thinks Phil deserves real props for all that he's done, but Sandy just won't give it up.
Craig gets guilt-tripped into taking Kim to his and Derrick's night of drinking and watching cage fighting at their local bar. The whole time, Kim complains about being there. Craig finally stands up for himself and tells Kim he won't be part of Kim's games anymore.
Kath attempts to be friendly with Sandy because he is Phil's best friend. The three of them go to lunch together and Sandy begins showing Kath photos of when Phil was over 300 pounds. Phil is obviously hurt by the photos and Kath feels bad and stands up for Phil.
Phil begs Kath to make amends with Sandy and she ends up inviting him to join her, Kim and Phil for dinner. Kath wants Sandy to be aware that she only invited him to make Phil happy. Sandy corners Kath in the kitchen and starts hitting on her.
Phil catches Sandy trying to kiss Kath and lunges at him. He accuses Sandy of stealing three fiancées from him and Kath won't be the fourth. The two begin to wrestle from room to room in the house. Later the evening, Kath tells Phil to stop blaming himself for Sandy's behavior. Phil tells Kath she'll always be worth fighting for.
