Charlie misreads a sign-up sheet for a radio competition, thinking that the "prize" box says "pride," and inadvertently puts Paddy's up as the grand prize in a dance marathon. The gang must then win the competition to keep the bar. They use this as an opportunity to screw each other over and take control of the bar for themselves.
