In Plain Sight Episode 3.12 WitSec Stepmother

A teenager witnesses a bloody diamond store heist and she is immediately introduced into WitSec protection. However, her mother stays behind and lets her father accompany her.

Mary takes the reigns and finds that Sabrina, the daughter, is torn between her separated parents who dislike one another. Her mother barely has any time to see her on planned visitations in Chicago, and her father thinks he can buy her love with cars and gifts. Mary is left to emotionally guide her as the "stepmother" and make sure that Sabrina makes her federal hearing to testify against the criminals.

Meanwhile, Scott's gambling debts have caught up with him. He ends up in the hospital, badly beaten. He claims that he was mugged and robbed, but Brandi is beginning to think there are other factors at play.
