In Plain Sight Episode 2.09 Who's Bugging Mary?

Mary's worst nightmare comes true when she is awoken by the FBI pounding on her front door. Led by her old nemesis Agent O'Connor, the agents break down the door and promptly arrest Brandi for multiple charges. As Jinx goes to pieces, Mary puts Raphael on recovering-alcoholic-mother-watch and rushes down to the Federal Building to see Brandi in the hopes of getting some answers.

Brandi swears that she doesn't know what info the Feds might have on her in order to make this arrest now instead of three months ago. But Mary is determined to find out why O'Connor has suddenly reared his ugly head, threatening to tear apart her family and take Mary's career down in the process. While she's at it, she'd also like to know who the hell bugged her house. And when all signs point to Lauren, Jinx is the one who has some explaining to do.

As Mary begs, borrows and steals for every possible piece of information that might help Brandi's case, she grows increasingly paranoid. Is Lauren in the FBI? Was Eleanor sent to the Albuquerque WITSEC office by the FBI to gather information on Mary and her sister? Eleanor appears to be calling in her favors, but why is she coming up with goose eggs?

Instead of hanging around feeling helpless, Jinx is motivated by the crisis to do everything in her power to protect her daughters. Despite Brandi's express wishes for her family not to tell Peter about her arrest, Jinx asks Peter for his help in the form of the best lawyer his ample fortune can buy. Even with a tough criminal attorney by her side and Mary having her back, Brandi is facing life in prison, possibly even the death penalty.
