After throwing a successful intervention to break up Barney and Quinn, the gang regrets their actions until they realize it was all a set-up by the new couple to teach them a lesson. Meanwhile, Marshall and Lily try to outdo one another by telling their friends embarrassing sex stories, while Ted and Robin finally come to a reconciliation to repair their friendship.
