Hostages Episode 1.11 Off the Record

Duncan locks the Sanders family in a room for the day while he and his team head to New York to eliminate the two person sniper team targeting President Kincaid. Brian refuses to access the blueprints for three buildings where the sniper could potentially take the shot from, but Ellen quietly tells Duncan that she'll get him the documents he needs via Samantha, Brian's mistress. Using the information from the building schematics that Ellen provides, Duncan is able to pick out the building the sniper plans to use and manages to locate and kill the sniper's spotter. However, they quickly realize that the sniper is nowhere to be found, so Sandrine quickly scan the surrounding area, locates him and killing him at the last possible moment. Archer notes her brief hesitation before pulling the trigger, the result of her secret deal with Logan to keep watch on Duncan and the team. Meanwhile, Nina's birth mother, Kate, surprises Burton when she shows up at his home, claiming that she wants to go public with the truth about her history with Kincaid. Burton tries to persuade her not to do this, but she is firm in her resolve. Just before Burton is forced to kill her to maintain her silence, she agrees to keep the story private if Burton allows her to meet Nina, face-to-face.
