Dave attempts to make his dream of opening a restaurant come true. His first step is to quit his job as a meat-selling drone. Alex wants Max and Brad to talk him out of it, but the boys don't want to be dream-crushers. Unfortunately, Dave's dream is something called the Pangaea Grill. It'll have 900 dishes from 125 ethnic cuisines in one massive menu. Sounds tasty! And thick!

As you may suspect, Dave has trouble wrangling up investors for the Pangaea Grill. He wants to cash in his 401k to fund the idea himself. His friends have no choice but to voice their concerns. Actually, Alex is the only one who speaks up. She encourages him to do what he knows, which is make steak sandwiches. Dave still needs funding. That's why Alex gives him back her engagement ring. It won't cover everything, but it's a start. It's also a nice gesture.

Max and Jane engage in a competition to determine who would most likely survive the inevitable zombie apocalypse headed their way. As we all know, zombies sense motion. Max challenges Jane to see who can stay completely still the longest. He ups the stakes by spilling a big bottle of beer on the table in front of her. Jane can't stand the mess. She breaks stillness immediately to clean it up. This means that zombies will soon be feasting on her brain. Bummer.

Penny is dating a hipster dude named Toby. Max believes she'll, once again, try to assume the traits of the guys she dates. The Goth look she had a while back is just one example of this type of behavior. Penny really likes this guy, so Max helps her go hipster. His rules include things like never putting effort into anything, only liking things ironically and never showing too much enthusiasm. He also helps her dress for hipster success.

Penny does her best to fit in with Toby's friends. Her faux lack of enthusiasm goes a long way into fooling these oddly-dressed drones. It's exhausting trying to figure out what's cool and what isn't, but Penny presses on for a chance at romance. She even ropes her friends into joining her at a big hipster bash.

Penny and the gang all overdress for a '90s-themed party. Toby and his pals think they are all exhausting way too much effort. This has Penny feeling like these hipsters are actually hipster doofuses. She does a high-energy Penny dance out the door.

When the gang arrives outside, they see Dave standing inside his brand-new food truck. It's called "Steak Me Home Tonight." He'll keep his real job for the time being while he does the truck thing on the side. He doesn't have any food stocked at the moment, which is too bad. A swarm of hungry hipsters are headed his way with a dead look in their eyes. The zombie apocalypse is upon them. Who will survive? We're guessing it won't be Max after Jane pushes him out of the truck.
