An engaged British aristocrat, Colin Cavendish, turns up dead in Central Park. The guy was known for being a viscount. Henry doesn't believe this man was a noble at all. He labels him as an imposter. There are two mysteries at hand. Who is Colin Cavendish, and who wanted him dead?

Henry and the murder victim share the same tailor, who says Cavendish was getting married. The guy's fiancee, Emily Sontag, has a dad that owns a textile factory that supplies clothes to the high-end store where the engaged couple was registered. Henry and Jo learn that Colin Cavendish was actually a bike messenger named Dwight Dziak. This is all news to his fiancee.

Emily's dad, Norman Sontag, had written the victim a check for a million bucks. It was a wedding present. Henry realizes that Norman and Colin/Dwight got into a fight at the Sontag residence. The new prime suspect in the case admits to assaulting his future son-in-law with a golf club, but he didn't kill him. Norman says the victim was running a con to steal his money, but he fell in love with Emily. Colin/Dwight planned to tell his fiancee the truth.

Norman alibis out. Henry realizes that Colin/Dwight shopped at the high-end store where his tailor works. He was using the employee discount of Patricia Abbott, the wedding registry worker they met earlier. The two of them worked together as con artists until Colin/Dwight developed a conscience. Henry believes that Patricia was angry that she was losing her partner.

Abe's friend, Lyle Ames, has passed away. It has him recalling the good times he had with Henry and his mom back in the day. Henry recalls the year 1957. These were happy times with Abigail and Abe. Of course, there were also some challenges, as Henry had to fake looking older. He ran into a war veteran who recognized him on the street. This incident forced the family to move again. It was at a time when Abe was getting his first kiss from Fawn Mahoney, who happens to be the widow of the friend who passed away.

Henry's sees Patricia Abbott at a cemetery. He gives chase with Abe. Patricia is brought in for questioning. She says Colin/Dwight dumped her after the engagement party. She also reveals that the spot where the victim's body was found is where he proposed to Emily, who didn't kill him. That's why Henry wants her to be arrested. It was all a ruse to catch the real killer, Norman Sontag's attorney, Peter Guzik, who was in love with Emily. Case closed.

Abe is surprised when Fawn Mahoney shows up at his antique shop. She's lived just 20 blocks away all these years. She admits that Abe is the only man she ever kissed besides her husband. Abe offers to buy Fawn a cup of coffee. She politely declines, but maybe they'll run into each other again someday. Speaking of someday, that's when Jo thinks Henry will let her in on his secrets. As for today, things take a dire turn. Henry's fan traps him inside a cab and speeds off into the night.
