Mike and Katherine are preparing to leave for Vegas, but he can't shake the "bad vibe" he got from Dave. Katherine tells him they have to hurry or they'll miss their flight. He agrees it's probably nothing. She wants to stop and buy some blank videotape, but he tells her to just grab an old one and they'll tape over it.

Anna arrives at the Solises and agrees to Gabrielle's rules about chores and curfew. As she helps her unpack, Gaby can't believe that her wardrobe includes Versace and Vera Wang. Anna explains they're presents from her rich, college-age boyfriends.

Bree tells Karl that Orson has found the storage unit and that he's blackmailing her not to divorce him. Karl assures her that they'll think of something.

Tom is jubilant that, despite being drunk, he's passed his college entrance exam with flying colors. Lynette doesn't tell him that she suspects that her cancer is back.

Susan comments, "The joys of being a parent," when MJ wants another juice box and Dave says, "I remember," and then explains, "I had a little girl, she died." He assures her that he's "learning to deal with it."

Thanks to Edie, Karen already has a key to Dave's house, inside, they find prescriptions made out to a "David Dash." They're interrupted by a knock on the door: It's the police, who order them to open up. At the police station, they piece everything together: David Dash was a patient of Dr. Heller's, and his wife and child were killed in the crash with Susan and Dave.

A man assaults Orson, threatening to kill him unless he "lets go." Bree is shocked and assures him she had nothing to do with the attack. He'd packed a bag, and was ready to leave, but now he tells her he believes her, and announces, "I'll stay."

Carlos and Gaby run to the store and when they return, Gaby finds that Anna's put Porter, Preston and Parker to work doing her chores. Gaby tells her they want her to be part of the family, and that she needs to show some respect, starting with doing her own chores, no more boys in the house and no more gifts from men. Anna claims she must be jealous of her youth and beauty and Gabrielle threatens to throw her out if she keeps it up.

Anna goes outside and starts crying on cue when she sees Carlos. "I don't know what I did," she sobs. "She wants to kick me out." Carlos, naturally, takes Anna's side. Anna walks by and gives Gaby a smug smile.

Lynette gets the results back from the doctor: It's not cancer, she's pregnant! She breaks the news to Tom. "We're old," protests Tom but Lynette points out, "Apparently not old enough." She tells him the rest: "We're having twins. Again."

Mike's concern for Susan and MJ makes Katherine ask if he isn't still hung up on Susan. He convinces Katherine that he really does want to marry her. She goes to get a cappuccino and accidentally starts the video recorder in her purse playing: It's Dave's tape, the one where he apologizes for killing MJ! Mike hears the alarming message and runs off before Katherine comes back, asking a stranger to tell her it's an emergency.

Bree confronts Karl about hiring someone to rough up Orson. "You were tired of being a good girl. You knew it was time to play dirty," Karl says when she regrets having hired him. He tells her she's loved every minute of it, and so has he. "I think you're the most fascinating woman that I have ever met." She's thrown off by his declaration but he doesn't believe her when she declares that she "detests" him. "You're fired," she says. "Good, that keeps this from being a breach of ethics," he says as he kisses her. Bree balks, but then kisses him back.

Mike calls Susan on her cell phone and tells her not to react to the news that Dave Williams is really David Dash, and to get away from him as fast as she can. He tells her he' on his way and so are the cops.

Susan asks David to pull over to grab a bite, but he says they're almost there and he really doesn't want to stop, so she hands MJ another juice box. Soon enough, MJ is asking to go to the bathroom. They pull over to the side of the road instead of a rest stop or restaurant, as Susan was hoping.

Dave's phone rings: It's the police. They tell him they know everything and ask him to give himself up before someone gets hurt. Before he can answer, Susan hits Dave on the head with a rock. She tries to get his keys from him but he's still conscious and grabs her hand. She runs away, but soon falls and hurts her leg. She orders MJ to run and hide, saying it's a game. Dave holds a gun on Susan and orders her to call her son. "MJ... don't come out," she yells and Dave knocks her out. Dave goes looking for MJ and threatens to leave if the boy doesn't come out right away.

Susan comes to and sees MJ in Dave's arms. "Mommy wake up, I get to drive the boat," he says. Back inside the car, Susan puts headphones on MJ so he won't hear the "boring adult talk." Susan begs Dave not to hurt MJ, saying she knows he's a good person.

Mike calls and Dave asks him, "How does it feel, knowing you can't save the people you love?" Mike offers to exchange himself for Susan and MJ. Dave agrees, saying that if he sees any cops, he'll kill them both. He brings them to Canterbury Road, the site of the fatal accident. Dave ties Susan to a pole and tells her his new plan: He and MJ will pull into the intersection just as Mike comes racing to their rescue. "You're going to stay there and watch as Mike kills your child, just like you killed mine."

"What if your daughter could see you now?" she asks, "Would you want her to see you like this, as a monster who would murder an innocent child?"

"I'm not a monster," Dave replies. He gets into the car, but when he looks into the rear view mirror, instead of MJ he sees his daughter, Paige.

Susan gets free but not in time to stop the crash. She rushes to the scene and MJ comes running towards her. "Dave told me to get out of the car," he says. Mike gets out of his car and hugs them both and then kisses Susan.

An injured Dave is remembering the night of the accident: instead of letting his wife and daughter go out for ice cream, he now remembers that he told them to stay home. We next see Dave behind bars at a mental institution.

Two months later, we see Mike at the altar with his bride, but we don't see the face under the veil.
