When Gabrielle confronts Carlos about tampering with her birth control, he not only denies it -- he blames it on his dead mother!

Gaby tells John he might be the father and after an initial freak out, he wants to take responsibility, starting with having it out with Carlos! Gaby persuades him not to say anything, because the baby -- whoever the father ends up being -- will have a better life with Carlos. When Carlos sees John, he asks him to come be their gardener again. "You are practically family," he says.

Lynette is worried when she realizes it's been 10 days since she and Tom have had sex. But when they try to go for it, he is turned off by the smell of baby drool on her shirt. Lynette realizes she'll have to make some effort, so she buys a French maid outfit, which she'ss still wearing when he finally comes home late with a colleague he was planning on putting up on the couch where Lynette is now sacked out in her sexy get-up!

Lynette tells Tom she's convinced their marriage is in real trouble, and that with her lack of make-up and sexy clothes, she cannot keep up with Annabel. That night, Tom tells her to wait before coming into the bedroom -- where she finds him modeling some skimpy underwear. Hurrah: Their marriage is saved!

Morty proposes to Sophie -- and she accepts! Before she leaves, Sophie tells Susan that she told Mike how much Susan still loves him.

Bree is having a decadent lunch with George and as they feed each other samples of their food, Bree sees Edie giving her the eye. Bree realizes how it must look, so she assures Edie that she and George are only friends, just one she tells her innermost thoughts to. Then why, Edie asks, aren't you sharing those with your husband, Rex?

Trying to get closer to Rex, Bree reminds him of a romantic trip they once took to Italy. But he rains on her parade when all he remembers is how hot it was and how much they spent.

The detective that Susan hired, Shaw, tells Paul that she's hired him, and that he'll tell her whatever Paul wants her to hear. So he prepares a file backing up Paul's claims -- that Dana was their baby girl who died as an infant and that Angela changed her name to Mary Alice because of a dispute with a relative. Susan is convinced she's been wrong about Paul. But she has one more task for Shaw -- to investigate Mike.

When she gets the file on Mike, it's worse than she thought -- the man he killed was a cop. So she goes to Deirdre's family, and her father tells her that there's nothing more she needs to know. But Kendra takes her aside and tells her Mike acted in self-defense, to save Deirdre from her drug habit and from a blackmailing cop. "I knew he was good," Susan sobs, and rushes back to Mike and throws herself in his arms.

Even though Susan's off his back, Paul still decides to leave town. But that will set off Zach, so Paul drugs him so he can start packing. Felicia keeps calling to see where Zach is, so when she sees Paul leave, she sneaks over and finds Zach unconscious. She leaves a note for Paul that he can find Zach at her house. When Paul shows up, she says she knows he killed her sister -- because Martha knew that he and Mary Alice had kidnapped Zach as a baby. Paul asks her what she wants and she says she wants him to leave town -- but to leave Zach with her. And Paul agrees.
