The Defenders Episode 1.09 Whitten v. Fenlee

Nick and Pete defend a famous blogger and an activist whose husband was killed in a construction accident. Zoe convinces Nick that he should defend a mutual friend whose husband was killed in a faulty construction site accident. Nick and Pete discover that these types of accidents have been happening all over LAs Vegas. As it turns out the City is accepting lax buliding and safetly requirements in order to speed up the construction process in Vegas. In the mean time Pete takes on a high profile case about a blogger who has allegedly givin away a magic trick secret of a very popular Vegas magician. Penn Teller guest stars as an old magic store owner and magic teacher, who testifies that the trick is totally "original" -- meaning there is no way to trace the origin of the trcik. it goes back hundreds of years. pete wins the case. Nick also wins the construction case.
