The CSIs are alerted to a 16-year-old girl, Debbie, found dead with evidence of sexual assault in a car parked on the desert highway. The fingerprints on the car lead them to a restaurant worker who placed flyers on vehicles in an area with a nondescript building. Nick and Greg enter the building to discover they are in a brothel and find a shard of glass in the "Western Room" matching a piece lodged in Debbie's knee. The brothel owner admits that her bartender found the victim dead in her parking lot and transported her away from the area. Fingerprints from the "Western Room" are traced to Debbie's father Jim, a reverend who admits to frequenting the brothel. During the questioning of Kirsten, one of the prostitutes found with a shard of glass in her shoe, Jim intervenes and reveals she is his estranged daughter. His weekly visits to the brothel were to try and convince her to change her lifestyle. When they find Jim pointing a gun at county supervisor Roger Ridley, it comes to light that Kirsten told Jim that Roger sexually assaulted Debbie. They are able to talk Jim down and Roger confesses that Debbie's mother Carolyn arranged for him to have sex with her daughter. The CSIs confront Carolyn with incriminating evidence of her belongings found at the scene and she admits to murdering Debbie before she was able to enter the brothel to get help from her father. Jim is crushed to learn Carolyn had forced both of their adopted daughters into a life of prostitution.
