The black team returns to the living room to tell the blue team that Dina has been eliminated. Liz isn't buying the black team's story that choosing to eliminate Dina was a difficult decision, thinking the black team is purposely trying to get rid of the players who have original partners now on the blue team.

The players all have to face off against one another for their challenge. The players must go back and forth bobbing underneath a bar in the middle and touch their team color disc on each side. Each touch is worth one point and the first team to 500 wins. The players are ready for their face-off.

Rebecca celebrates being the player to hit the blue team's disc the 500th time, making them winners in the challenge. The black team is worried, because now that means the blue team gets to decide who faces off this week on the ranch.

The black team finds out which blue team players they will be facing off against throughout the week. As Bob works his blue team out in the pool, Jillian is in the gym trying to motivate Amanda. Amanda is on the verge of falling apart from all the pressure.

The players all meet on a baseball field for their first face-off challenge. They find Ali waiting for them on the pitcher's mound, surrounded by balls on the field and life-size photos of themselves from the first day they arrived on the ranch. Each player is nervous to see what the challenge will entail.

Before the challenge can begin, Ali tells the players that baseball great Derek Jeter has a message for them. He appears on the large Jumbotron to tell the players what an inspiration they are to him. The players find out they have to grab as many balls as possible and throw them at their opponent's photo; if a player's photo gets hit by 316 balls, they are out of the game.

The teams each have strategies to eliminate their opponents in the challenge. The winning team gets a two-pound advantage at the weigh-in, to be used on any player they want to give it to.

The final baseball throws are coming from Shay, Danny, and Liz. Shay and Danny are determined to win a challenge for the black team and in the end, they do. The rest of the black team joins Shay and Danny for a group hug to celebrate their win. Not only has the black team won the two-pound advantage, they've also won a lunch prepared by Curtis Stone.

Curtis Stone is waiting for the players at the ranch. When the black team arrives, he teaches them how to prepare a healthy barbeque without all the grease. The players are impressed with how delicious their lunch is.

Jillian joins Abby as she's working out at the rowing machine. Jillian wants to know if Abby is finding what she came to the ranch looking for. Abby breaks down and tells Jillian that she's finding herself again and discovering she can open up and love people again. She tells Jillian she's ready to live again. Jillian vows to help Abby find that happiness.

Jillian finds Amanda outside and wants to talk to her. She wants answers on why Amanda walked out on her on the treadmill when she was pushing her to go faster and longer. Amanda admits that she's still living with the fear of being successful at losing weight.

During the last-chance workout, the players are all focused on the player they are facing off against in the weigh-in. Jillian is focusing on Shay and her relationship with her mother and the reason why Shay turned to food. Jillian wants Shay to learn to forgive herself for her mother's mistakes.

Now it is time to see how the players have done going up against one another. The black team has decided to give their two-pound advantage to Amanda, which proves to be a smart decision, since she's only lost four pounds this week on the ranch. In the end, the blue team beats the black team in the weigh-in and they are relieved.

Even though the blue team has already won the weigh-in, Rudy and Shay have to face off. Before Rudy gets on the scale, last season's Dane walks into the weigh-in room to see if Rudy will break his record of being the player to reach a 100-pound weight loss the fastest. In the end, Rudy beat Dane's record. Rudy has lost 101 pounds in seven weeks.

Now it is time for the black team to have to choose whom to eliminate. Abby asks her team to choose her this week. The rest of the players start crying as Abby explains she has already learned so much on the ranch and knows how to move on with her weight loss journey. But, she also knows that her injury is also keeping her back on the ranch. She vows to keep her dream alive when she goes home. To purchase the song played at the end of the episode, Rosi Golan's "Shine."
