The teams are feeling pretty good because they were able to lose enough weight for everybody to stay on the ranch another week. But, it's a new week with new challenges. Ali informs the team it's "Would You Rather" week.
Ali challenges the players to make a choice, take a weight loss advantage at the next weigh-in but in return have to give up working with the trainers for the week. Tracey surprises everybody and steps over the line and Mo has to step over the line, as well. The other players already know Bob and Jillian will not like the results and they were right.
The players find out what their new temptation challenge will be. Ali informs them the winner of the challenge will choose which player will represent their color in the weigh-in, with only one player being weighed in for each team. Each player would have to eat more cupcakes than anybody else in ten minutes to win the challenge and take control of the game.
During the challenge, only Antoine and Tracey give in and eat the cupcakes, but there can only be one winner. Tracy is declared the winner because she ate four cupcakes. When she hears the news, she immediately feels sick to her stomach for consuming 400 calories in one setting. The players are now all scared because they think Tracy is a wild card.
The trainers join their players in the gym to find out what their challenge was all about. When Bob and Jillian discover Tracy ate four cupcakes in order to win the challenge, they lose all patience with her. Jillian lets Tracey know just how furious she is with the temptation results.
After Jillian says her piece, she and Bob rally the rest of the players to go back to the gym and work out their teams and continue with the "would you rather" theme by allowing different players to choose their types of workouts.
For the challenge, the players have the option of carrying 25-pound weights with less distance to the drop-off point, or five-pound weights with more distance to the drop-off point. The first team to drop off 500 pounds will receive immunity.
Allen wins the challenge for him and Abby, giving the green team immunity. But that doesn't stop all the teams from making sure they finish the challenge for themselves. After they complete the challenge, all the players feel a lot better about themselves.
Back at the gym, all the trainers are feeling the wrath of Jillian's anger. She is pushing players to their limits and fully acknowledges that she is always the "bad parent" and Bob is always the "good parent." Dina vows to not quit on Jillian, even after she really wants to.
Before Tracey gives her answers about who should weigh in for each team, Daniel hopes to have a one-on-one talk with her. Daniel hopes that Tracey will put Daniel on the scale instead of Shay because Shay really needs to stay on the ranch and Daniel can be the one who will keep her there.
Like all the other players, the pink team was nervous about what Tracy would decide at the weigh-in. Amanda is sure that Tracy will help the pink team out because of her friendship. Tracy makes it clear that she doesn't trust Rebecca and doesn't know who she would vote for in the elimination.
The teams all meet at the weigh-in and are eager to see what decisions Tracy has made. Tracy wants the players to know how alienated she has felt since winning the cupcake challenge. Jillian wants Mo to know that he shouldn't support his partner or her lack of respect for the trainers and the other players.
Amanda was certain that Tracy is going to let Rebecca's weight loss count instead of hers, based on their friendship alone. Amanda was wrong because Tracy chooses Amanda's weight to be the one that counts for the pink team. The pink team celebrates when Amanda's weight loss saves them from elimination.
It is now time for the purple team of Mo and Tracey to weigh in. Everybody is speechless when the scale reveals that Mo lost only one pound, but Tracy lost 11 pounds. Ali points out that Tracy is receiving no applause for her success. In the end, the red team and the orange team face elimination.
Shay pleads with the players to let her stay on the ranch because her life depends on it. In the end, the players oblige Shay's wishes and eliminate Sean and Antoine from the ranch. The red team has no hard feelings and give their tearful goodbyes.
