The players all talk about their first experience eliminating Alexandra and agree that it's the hardest thing they've have to do on the ranch. Ali propositions the players: if they lose a combined total of 150 pounds this week, nobody will be sent home. If the players don't reach that goal, two players will be leaving the ranch.

Bob and Jillian have a pep talk with their players and want to prepare them for some possibly disappointing numbers on the scale. The trainers' moods quickly change when the players tell them they have to lose a total of 150 pounds in order for everybody to stay. Jillian thinks it's practically impossible.

Mo thinks it's about time he goes and visits his partner, Tracy, in the hospital. She tears up when Mo tells her he lost enough weight for the both of them to be still on the ranch. Tracy cannot wait to come back to the ranch and start working out with her new partner.

The players are all in the gym working out and determined to make their 150-pound goal, except for Julio. His lack of effort is causing Shay to grow more and more frustrated, because Alexandra was sent home the week before to keep Julio on the ranch.

The next day, Tracy moves from the hospital to The Biggest Loser Ranch. She's so nervous since she's a newbie and doesn't know what she's going to be in for. She's greeted with hugs and smiles from her new teammates.

The players all gather in the kitchen to meet Ali. She introduces them to celebrity chef Curtis Stone, who's on the ranch to teach the players seven tips on nutrition. Ali warns the players that she'll be quizzing them.

Curtis delivers tips for the players on nutrition and Ali returns with her questions for the pop quiz. Ali will ask eight questions and if the players answer five questions right, they will get a 15-pound advantage in the weigh-in.

After the green and red teams both give wrong answers, the players have only two more chances to win the 15-pound advantage. The blue team gets called to answer the next question and they get it right. All the players rejoice and celebrate that they now have an advantage going into the weigh-in.

The players all meet up with Ali at a lake, where she shows them their latest challenge. The players all have to balance on beams and walk from platform to platform above the lake, and every player has to complete the challenge. If one player falls in, everyone loses the challenge. Each raft that the players reach, they get a weight advantage and call home.

The players are feeling the pressure of all of them having to complete the challenge in order to win their prizes. As the beams they are balancing on get smaller, the players have to lean on each other for more support, mentally and physically.

The players all have reason to celebrate. They successfully crossed the final beam and won their 20-pound weight advantage, but more importantly, they get to call their loved ones at home. They all feel so accomplished and Ali tells them they've proven they can work together as a team and as individuals.

The players make their calls home. As they listen to the familiar voices on the other end, they break down in tears. Sean's wife is able to deliver the news that they are expecting a baby girl.

The players are feeling a bit of relief since they now only have to lose a total of 115 pounds in order to keep everybody on the ranch. The trainers are still hesitant about celebrating because 115 pounds is still a lot of weight to lose in the second week on the ranch. Now it's time to go the gym for the last-chance workout.

The teams all meet up at the weigh-in to find out if they are all safe this week or sending two players home. Most of the teams are very happy to see that their extra-hard work is paying off.

The players are all very happy with themselves at the end of the weigh-in. Not only did they lose their goal of 115 pounds, they lost a total of 155 pounds! This is way more than any of them expected to lose.
