Rick preps for a mixology contest by having the gang test out his exotic creations. Rick may be trying a bit too hard with his drinks; it's hard to make alcohol unappealing to this bunch, and he somehow managed. Olivia insists that Chelsea's "Bang Bang" recipe is a winner, and after tasting it, Todd agrees. But Rick insists that she doesn't need Chelsea's help; he's got this one in the bag.

Rick dreams of taking his new mixology creations and opening up a bar. While his goal may be lofty, at least he has aspirations, unlike Chelsea. Chelsea counters, claiming that she does have one big goal: a pair of $700 handcrafted thigh high leather boots. It may seem silly, but Chelsea's insistent that these boots will improve her life drastically.

Dee Dee accompanies Chelsea to the courthouse to get her community service assignment for her DUI. The clerk is more concerned with getting a favorable performance review than with laying down the law and says he'll sign off on whatever assignment she desires. Dee Dee offers up the opportunity to tutor needy children with her, and Chelsea accepts.

On her first assignment, Chelsea's bummed to find that Dee Dee is actually making her do work instead of just signing her off. Dee Dee assigns her to help a flirtatious young boy named Warren. Chelsea counters his attitude with her own and seems to be having an impact on the young guy. That is, until he steals her phone, claiming he just wanted to use it to look up facts since he doesn't have a computer.

Later, Rick's obscure drink creations don't seem to be cutting it at the mixology contest. Chelsea comes in for backup, and offers up her Bang Bang recipe if he'll split the winnings with her 50/50. Rick agrees, and the two win the prize money! Chelsea takes her winnings and realizes her ultimate goal: buying those thigh high leather boots.

Later, Chelsea shows off her boots to Olivia and Dee Dee, basking in her glory. But when Chelsea checks her phone and realizes that Warren really WAS doing some research, she's struck with pains of guilt. Here she is, enjoying her fancy shoes while poor Warren doesn't have a computer to help out with his homework. Chelsea drowns her guilt in her BFF and vodka and waxes poetic to her roommates about what a terrible person she is.

The next morning, Chelsea wakes up and is shocked to discover that she did a bit of drunk online shopping and bought the tutor center a new computer. This is terrible; she can't afford both the computer and the boots! Chelsea knows what she has to do and parts ways with her precious boots.

Chelsea surprises herself by holding up her computer promise and basks in the glory of her good deed. Even though Dee Dee signs off on her community service, Chelsea decides to stick around and help out Warren for a bit.
