To thank Chelsea, Dee Dee and Olivia for helping with the baby, Sloane treats them to a classy French restaurant. The very attractive chef comes over to offer a specialty plate and voices his interest in Chelsea. Robert takes Chelsea out that night and the two embark on a whirlwind romance.

After a long night of lovemaking, Robert whips up a delicious breakfast for Chelsea, something he likes to do for "his lovers." Chelsea claims disinterest in food but finds she just wasn't eating the right stuff; his cooking is amazing! Chelsea simply can't get enough.

Back at the bar, Olivia begs Chelsea to go to girls' night at a transvestite bar. Robert strolls in the door, large picnic basket in hand for a lovely lunch with Chelsea. Todd shows Robert where to set up the food, while Rick gives his very honest opinion to Chelsea: there's no way a French chef can look and be that good. Something must be wrong with him.

Robert keeps making gourmet food, and Chelsea can't get enough of his cooking. Chelsea increasingly finds herself lethargic and easily agitated, and she is always craving food instead of sex and booze.

As Robert cooks, Chelsea gets grumpier and more impatient, pestering him to hurry up the process. Chelsea hits rock bottom when she knocks the pan from the stove and begins eating the food off the kitchen floor.

At the bar, Dee Dee has formed an intervention committee, complete with Sloane, Melvin and the bar staff. Sloane is completely stressed out from lack of sleep and showering - she needs Chelsea's help. Jerry is talking about interviewing candidates for Chelsea's job since she's been slacking off at work. Melvin thinks she's starting to look like a lesbian gas station worker. Chelsea realizes the gravity of the situation: Robert and the overeating need to stop.

A strict alcohol diet and bar dancing helps Chelsea get back to her "fighting weight." She and Olivia stumble into the apartment, drunk from girls' night, and Rick is happy to see Chelsea back to her old self. He admits he was jealous of Robert; even if he isn't right for her, Rick can tell when others aren't either.
