Synopsis
There's a new side to Liz and the men around her are taking notice. Jenna tells Liz it's because she's in a relationship. When Liz walks into the writers' room, Pete pleads with her to use her charms on the TGS editors so the show can get what it wants.
A superstitious Tracy doesn't want to leave his dressing room until Angie goes into labor. When 30 Rock has a fire drill, he closes his eyes and follows the herd of people, only get lost and wind up on a city bus. Meanwhile, Angie calls Grizz and Dot Com and tells them she's going into labor.
Liz accidentally gives Jack a complex about being an old dad to his and Avery's unborn child. He takes it upon himself to film a message to his son, talking about the history of the Donaghy name and revealing stories from his childhood.
Tracy realizes he's all the way across town and hails a cab. He explains to the driver that he needs to reach Angie at the hospital, but has no money. The driver tells Tracy to climb in and then announces he's on "Cash Cab." Tracy has to answer a series of trivia questions or he's back out on the street. Tracy plays along.
After Liz hears that the TGS editor Richie has been telling everybody they are hooking up, she decides to put a stop to it. She tells Richie she's already seeing somebody. Richie tells Liz that he's lying about his relationship with Liz so his assistant editor Donna will notice him. Liz takes pity on Richie and makes a deal with him.
Kenneth is moonlighting at TGS, despite quitting last season. He receives a call from a drugged-up Angie, who is in labor, and she threatens to leave Tracy if he misses the birth of their daughter. Kenneth puts on a Tracy mask and hauls down to the hospital.
Tracy manages to survive the Cash Cab and kicks Kenneth out of the delivery room and holds Angie's hand. Tracy winks at Kenneth as a thank you. Kenneth rushes to Jack's office and tells him he's going to re-apply to the NBC page program.
Jack visits Tracy at the hospital and they talk fatherhood. Jack is interrupted when Avery calls with some shocking news: they are having a girl! Jack now has to start from scratch and make a message to his girl.
