'Californication' 3.02 Preview: Ed Westwick Gives Hank Trouble
September 28, 2009 03:09:17Hank Moody continues to use his charm to escape from getting into trouble. Next week on "Californication", the newly anointed, and decidedly reluctant, professor grapples with teaching an undergrad creative writing course.
A brutally honest assessment of a student's work lands Hank in hot water. In order to placate the Dean and maintain his position, Hank visits the student to make amends. Damage controlled, Hank ends up giving gorgeous and talented writing student Jackie a ride to her surprising place of employment. Meanwhile, Charlie overly concerns himself with roommate Marcy's dating life to disastrous results.

First Look at Rick Springfield on 'Californication'
August 25, 2009 11:08:39There was one guest star left out in the promotional shots of "Californication" season 3 that were released last week. Rick Springfield, who is going to play himself, finally gets a sneak peek in the newly released behind-the-scene footage. The rocker gets a scene where he only wears a red thong.
"They were looking for somebody with a history," Springfield explained about his role. "It's an acting exercise for me. Although I'm playing myself, it's hedonistic Rick Springfield back in 19.." Springfield is going to be tangled in Charlie and Marcy's marriage when he takes refugee at the separated couple's house. "Marcy starts shacking up with Charlie's new client, Rick Springfield," Evan Handler aka Charlie explained.

First Look: Ed Westwick as Sick Student on 'Californication'
August 22, 2009 01:08:26Ed Westwick is no longer a Bass but Balt in the new promo shots of "Californication" season 3. The "Gossip Girl" actor is guest starring in the Showtime series as a college student fascinated at vampire lit. He is photographed in one scene, lying on a hospital bed accompanied by sexy fellow student, played by Eva Amurri.
The rest of the photos released for the season show a number of guest stars coming to the new season. Kathleen Turner aka the over-the-top boss of Charlie, is seen in two shots, towering Charlie and shaking Hank's hand. Diane Farr aka Hank's T.A. at the university, Jill Robinson, is one of the dinner guests.

Official Trailer of 'Californication' Season 3
August 18, 2009 02:08:05Golden Globe-winning series "Californication" has released the official trailer to season 3. From the look of the footage, the new chapter will be largely dedicated to the relationship between Hank and his blooming daughter Becca apart from the writer's new job as a college professor.
No longer featuring Mia who is away for her book tour, the promo gives flashes on a fight between the father-daughter as well as the growing romance between Hank and Karen. In the end of second season, Hank and Becca were faced with tough decision when Karen accepted a job in New York City. In the new promo, Karen is still persuading Hank to move out of Los Angeles because it is not fit to raise a child in the city.

First Sneak Peek to 'Californication' Season 3
June 24, 2009 02:06:51A glimpse of "Californication" season 3 has been shared by Showtime. Lead character Hank Moody is now taking a foray into the school world where he becomes a college teacher and a new idol for the young girls.
No date has been given by the cable network for the premiere but TV Guide said that it will return quite late this year. A confirmed guest star in the new cycle will be Rick Springfield who is going to play as what he knows best, a rock icon. Another one is "Gossip Girl" star Ed Westwick who will be a student with fascination on vampire lit.

Ed Westwick as Vampire Lit Obsessed Student in 'Californication'
May 02, 2009 10:05:09Ed Westwick goes from Upper East Side to Los Angeles. The Chuck Bass of "Gossip Girl" is guest starring in Showtime's "Californication" which returns for a third season later this fall. His first appearance is set on the second episode of the new season.
David Duchovny's Hank Moody will hop on as a college professor and Westwick's character Balt is a student of his. Balt reportedly is very much attracted to vampire literature. According to the press release, Hank will "attempt to shape the minds of the next generation of scribes while trying to hold down a 'regular' job and keep wild child daughter Becca on the straight and narrow."
