Jeremy Britt Wins 'The Biggest Loser' After Losing Half of His Weight
May 02, 2012 09:05:35"The Biggest Loser: No Excuses" has crowned Jeremy Britt as the champion. The banker shed half of his body weight to take home the grand prize of $250,000 on the season 13 finale, which was aired Tuesday, May 1 on NBC.
After leaving the Ranch for seven weeks, Jeremy and two other finalists, his own sister Conda Britt and former pro-wrestler Kim Nielsen, stepped on the scale for the last weigh-in. Jeremy went from 389 lbs. to 190 lbs for a total weight loss of 199 lbs. (51.25%), Conda went from 294 lbs. to 179 lbs. for a total weight loss of 115 lbs. (39.12%), while Kim went from 252 lbs. to 134 lbs. for a total weight loss of 118 lbs. (46.83%).

'Biggest Loser' Resumes Production After Mass Revolt, Cuts Two Protesters
February 24, 2012 03:02:48"The Biggest Loser" is moving on despite the alleged protest launched by the contestants. After it was reported that the filming of the currently aired thirteenth season was shut down due to the cast revolt, the show is now said to have resumed production.
According to TMZ, the reality series has axed two of the contestants who walked off the set earlier this week after learning about a secret twist planned by the producers. Sources moreover spilled that the show's bosses are considering to use the mutiny as "a story point."

Aside from the twist, the premiere of the "No Excuses" season also saw an elimination at the beginning of the show. One team of two was sent packing even before they entered the ranch. The NBC show about losing weight and leading a healthier lifestyle, will present its biggest contestant ever when 31-year-old DJ from Chicago Michael Ventrella joins the competition at the starting weight of 526 pounds. Filipe lost 10 pounds aka 4.10% of his body mass index in this week's weigh in, and was slightly in front of Ron who lost 9 pounds aka 3.02%. While one of the videos presents the time the final seven contestants are told that they are getting a makeover, the other video highlights on the transformation of one of the contestants.

Then, it moves on to show that the remaining seven go to Macy's and meet Tim Gunn, which excites Tara of the green team. February 18, 2009 01:02:29Shanon from the Pink team is voted out of "The Biggest Loser" Couples edition season two. She is the contestant who fights alongside her mother Helen. Their combined lost weight was the lowest in the round, amounting to only 9lbs or 1.99% which is 0.30% lower than team Purple, Kristin and Caty.
Initially all the other teams want Helen to go home but after a lengthy discussion, Shanon said that she wanted her mother to stay. The other grant their wish and sent home Shannon who has lost 45 pounds during the competition. Since leaving the show, she has shed a few more pounds and now weighs 198lbs.
