Jeremy Britt Wins 'The Biggest Loser' After Losing Half of His Weight
May 02, 2012 09:05:35"The Biggest Loser: No Excuses" has crowned Jeremy Britt as the champion. The banker shed half of his body weight to take home the grand prize of $250,000 on the season 13 finale, which was aired Tuesday, May 1 on NBC.
After leaving the Ranch for seven weeks, Jeremy and two other finalists, his own sister Conda Britt and former pro-wrestler Kim Nielsen, stepped on the scale for the last weigh-in. Jeremy went from 389 lbs. to 190 lbs for a total weight loss of 199 lbs. (51.25%), Conda went from 294 lbs. to 179 lbs. for a total weight loss of 115 lbs. (39.12%), while Kim went from 252 lbs. to 134 lbs. for a total weight loss of 118 lbs. (46.83%).

'Biggest Loser' Resumes Production After Mass Revolt, Cuts Two Protesters
February 24, 2012 03:02:48"The Biggest Loser" is moving on despite the alleged protest launched by the contestants. After it was reported that the filming of the currently aired thirteenth season was shut down due to the cast revolt, the show is now said to have resumed production.
According to TMZ, the reality series has axed two of the contestants who walked off the set earlier this week after learning about a secret twist planned by the producers. Sources moreover spilled that the show's bosses are considering to use the mutiny as "a story point."

According to the site, the remaining contestants in the current season of the reality series have walked off the show and now threaten to quit completely after learning a secret twist planned by producers.
Rumor has it, the show's bosses are considering to bring back previous contestants to compete for the grand prize. The current cast members are allegedly upset because they feel it's unfair that former cast members would be given a second chance at winning the prize.

Aside from the twist, the premiere of the "No Excuses" season also saw an elimination at the beginning of the show. One team of two was sent packing even before they entered the ranch. The first challenge to survive this phase was to finish a 40-yard dash, and it had the blue, orange, brown, and yellow team finishing first.

May 21, 2011 12:05:07Anna Kournikova has reportedly signed up to join "The Biggest Loser" as a new trainer in upcoming season. The Russia-born tennis player is said being set to lend her athletic training skills, replacing longtime show trainer Jillian Michaels who is leaving after this season.
According to X17online, NBC will make a formal announcement regarding Anna's involvement in the season finale which will air Tuesday, May 24. Should the report is true, the 29-year-old beauty will join trainers Cara Castronuova and Brett Hoebel.

The NBC show about losing weight and leading a healthier lifestyle, will present its biggest contestant ever when 31-year-old DJ from Chicago Michael Ventrella joins the competition at the starting weight of 526 pounds. The show's previous heaviest contestant was Shay Sorrells who weighed 476 pounds in Fall.

Once again the NBC reality series is going to have the couples edition for its midseason 2010 line-up, but they are strictly limiting it to family members.

In the three-hour finale on Tuesday, May 12, viewers find out who becomes the third finalist, how the eliminated contestants of the season are doing and ultimately, who sheds the most body mass index (BMI) after 179 days.
Helen, a retired retail manager, entered the competition with her 29-year-old daughter Shanon Thomas. The 47-year-old started with 257 pounds and was trained by Bob before switching to Jillian. She lost 103 pounds while in campus and advanced through after winning an immunity challenge and took two week's biggest loser titles. The 26-year-old Lube technician was voted off by majority when he fell behind the yellow line. "I never felt so devastated. Filipe lost 10 pounds aka 4.10% of his body mass index in this week's weigh in, and was slightly in front of Ron who lost 9 pounds aka 3.02%. Before the elimination, Filipe said in his defense that he may be a better contestant compared to Ron but he encouraged the others to save him because in order to be the best, one has to beat the best.

While one of the videos presents the time the final seven contestants are told that they are getting a makeover, the other video highlights on the transformation of one of the contestants.
The first clip begins as host Alison Sweeney announces that it's makeover week to the contestants. Then, it moves on to show that the remaining seven go to Macy's and meet Tim Gunn, which excites Tara of the green team. February 18, 2009 01:02:29Shanon from the Pink team is voted out of "The Biggest Loser" Couples edition season two. She is the contestant who fights alongside her mother Helen. Their combined lost weight was the lowest in the round, amounting to only 9lbs or 1.99% which is 0.30% lower than team Purple, Kristin and Caty.
Initially all the other teams want Helen to go home but after a lengthy discussion, Shanon said that she wanted her mother to stay. The other grant their wish and sent home Shannon who has lost 45 pounds during the competition. Since leaving the show, she has shed a few more pounds and now weighs 198lbs.
