The New 'Apprentice' Winner Is Brandy Kuentzel
December 10, 2010 03:12:49In perhaps the most quiet finale in "The Apprentice", 30-year-old Brandy Kuentzel came out as a winner. This season Donald Trump gave people who have been affected by the latest recession a second chance to make a decent living through the competition. The finale on Thursday, December 9 came down to Brandy and Clint Robertson.
In the final task which was aired in two parts, Brandy organized a VIP golf tournament featuring Kathy Griffin while Clint arranged a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Both had a successful run but Trump criticized Brandy for her poor choice of prize given to the attendants. Trump was not happy with the way Clint oversaid "y'all" which made him "unpolished".

Based on personalities, Trump decided to let go of Liza because while she was "outstanding in every way" she lacked on the interpersonal skills that would make her suitable for the Trump empire. After the elimination, Liza said, "I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close."

Steuart Martens has become the 12th candidate fired from the competition, leaving Clint Robertson, Liza Mucheru-Wisner and Brandy Kuentzel in the run.
The four remaining contestants were challenged to market products by Isaac Mizrahi, and Donald Trump told them to divide by sex. Brandy and Liza took the side of Fortitude while the men teamed up for Octane. They were free to pick a product to be sold at QVC and must earn the biggest profit through careful calculation.

This move was made based on the 8.6 million average of viewers that the show has this season where celebrities such as Joan Rivers, Brande Roderick and Dennis Rodman join the competition for charity of their choice. There were some talks that the network would like to return to the original non-celeb format next year, but they eventually land the decision since the celeb edition revamp the interest for the show.

KOTU and Athena are put in a five-star hotel for some hotel management. The members took the roles of hotel staff such as concierge, room service and even cleaning lady. While the women team benefits from the number, the men have difficulty in organizing the orders. Herschel Walker thought he got a wine order wrong while in fact he got it right the first time. Dennis became a hero to this.

March 23, 2009 01:03:09"Deal or No Deal" briefcase holder Claudia Jordan was the first eliminated woman in "The Apprentice" second celebrity edition. She said it "sucks" to be the first female to leave Athena but admitted that she lost control of the team while she's a project manager.
The challenge in the episode is the launching of ACN videophone which was judged based on votes by the company's workers. It was as much a Dennis Rodman rage affair as the women's meltdown. Annie Duke was sent to negotiate with Clint Black on determining who should go with the presentation first. The men won through a coin flip. Rodman suddenly got up to Clint and cursed him for not asking first.
