#9 Land of the Lost (June 5)
Who does comedy better than Will Ferrell? This former "Saturday Night Live" performer has created one memorable character after another. This summer, he'll tickle your funny bone once more with "Land of the Lost", a modern take on the '70s Saturday morning live-action TV series of the same name. In this Brad Silberling-directed adventure comedy, Ferrell portrays a has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall who is sucked back through time and lands on an alternate universe. Stranded in a world full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures with his crack-smart research assistant Holly and a redneck survivalist named Will, he now has figured it out how to survive and navigate out of the hybrid dimension.
