Keith Moon Film Stalled Over Script
Movie

The Who rocker Roger Daltrey has confirmed a film about his late bandmate Keith Moon has stalled over problems with the script.

AceShowbiz - The musician Roger Daltrey has spent years working on the project, tentatively titled "See Me Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked For Your Pleasure", which tells the story of the hell-raising drummer The Who, Keith Moon suffered a fatal overdose of prescription medication in 1978.

"Austin Powers" star Mike Myers has been tipped to take the title role, and the film is slated for a 2012 release, but Roger Daltrey admits the project is in trouble as he can't decide on a suitable script.

He tells Britain's Sunday Mail, "I can't get the right script to tell his amazing story. I can't find anybody who can really understand him."

Daltrey even jokes that his bandmate Pete Townshend should take over writing duties, adding, "Maybe Pete should write it."
