The Who rocker Roger Daltrey has confirmed a film about his late bandmate Keith Moon has stalled over problems with the script.
The musician Roger Daltrey has spent years working on the project, tentatively titled "See Me Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked For Your Pleasure", which tells the story of the hell-raising drummer The Who, Keith Moon suffered a fatal overdose of prescription medication in 1978.
"Austin Powers" star Mike Myers has been tipped to take the title role, and the film is slated for a 2012 release, but Roger Daltrey admits the project is in trouble as he can't decide on a suitable script.
He tells Britain's Sunday Mail, "I can't get the right script to tell his amazing story. I can't find anybody who can really understand him."
Daltrey even jokes that his bandmate Pete Townshend should take over writing duties, adding, "Maybe Pete should write it."
