AceShowbiz - Teen star Justin Bieber voiced his support for Chris Brown on Tuesday, March 22 - just hours before the embattled singer was accused of suffering a meltdown in New York. Brown is said to have become annoyed during an interview on "Good Morning America" when the host asked him questions about his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and after the chat he allegedly flew into a rage and hurled a chair at his dressing room window.
Bieber recently collaborated with the "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker and he took to his Twitter.com page on Tuesday morning to reiterate his support for Brown and their joint track "Next 2 You". Bieber, who is currently on tour in the U.K., wrote, "Shoutout to Chris Brown who has 'F.A.M.E.' dropping tomorrow. Album is crazy. We got a record on there with me and him called 'Next 2 You'."
Late on Tuesday, Bieber wrote of his delight after the single climbed to number 10 on the iTunes digital download chart, adding, " 'Next 2 You' is now #10 on iTunes!! Nice!! Greatest fans ever!! Thank you!!"
