Def Leppard and Linkin Park to Open and Close Download

The three headlining acts of the three-day festival have been announced with Linkin Park scheduled to be the last act at this year's event.

Def Leppard, the reformed System of a Down and Linkin Park will headline this summer's Download Festival in the U.K. Def Leppard will close the weekend event's opening night on June 10, SOAD will headline on the Saturday and Linkin Park will close the festival.

Also billed to perform: Alice Cooper, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, The Cult, Rob Zombie and Korn. There will also be a tribute to late guitar great Gary Moore as part of his former group Thin Lizzy's set.
