After complaining about Christopher Aber's threat, Mickey Rooney is granted restraining order against him.
Veteran actor Mickey Rooney has won a restraining order against his stepson amid allegations his fortune is at risk. In legal documents filed in Los Angeles, the Oscar winner claims Christopher Aber has been trying to convince him to sign over control of his assets, leaving the 90 year old fearing for his safety.
The papers state: "Mickey is extremely fearful that Chris will become physically threatening against Mickey and may even attempt to kidnap Mickey from his home."
A judge granted the request on Tuesday, February 15 and agreed to extend the order to Aber's wife. He also appointed Rooney's lawyer to act as his conservator, upon the "Requiem for a Heavyweight" star's request.
