"Sex and the City" star Cynthia Nixon is a mum again. The actress' longtime partner Christine Marinoni gave birth to a baby boy on Monday, February 7.
The couple has called the tot Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni, according to Access Hollywood. Nixon and Marinoni announced their engagement in May 2009. The couple has been dating since 2003. The actress has two children from her marriage to Danny Mozes.
The 44-year old actress, who won a Grammy in 2009 for "An Inconvenient Truth", is happy to welcome the baby. Their representative as reported by People Magazine said, "Christine and baby are doing great."
Nixon began dating her fiancee, who is an education activist, in 2004. However, Nixon, who was known for her Emmy Winning role as Miranda Hobbs in HBO's "Sex and the City", doesn't feel worried about her sexual orientation. "I'd been with men all my life, and I'd never fallen in love with a woman. But when I did, it didn't seem so strange. I'm just a woman in love with another woman," she said.
