Singer/songwriter Amos Lee has scored his first U.S. number one album as the Billboard 200 nets another record low. Lee's "Mission Bell" sold just 40,000 copies to make it to number one and beat Cake's two-week-old record - their "Showroom of Compassion" album sold 44,400 to hit number one last month.
Lee topples The Decemberists' "The King Is Dead", which drops to 10 on the new countdown. Iron and Wine's "Kiss Each Other Clean" debuts at two with 39,000 sales, while Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday" jumps up six spots to three.
The 2011 Grammy Nominees compilation enters the chart at four and Bruno Mars' "Doo - Wops & Hooligans" rounds out the new top five.
