The rapper, who returned the favor to George Condo by appearing at his daughter's party, is set to play an antagonist in 'The Black Mamba'.
Kanye West thanked artist George Condo for designing his latest album cover by performing for free at his daughter's 16th birthday party at the weekend. The rapper hired Condo to create the controversial picture for "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" and he repaid the favor by making an appearance at a party thrown for the artist's teenage daughter.
West played a 30-minute set at the Standard Hotel in New York City on Saturday, January 29 night for the starstruck teen and her friends, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.
On another news, West is set to show off his acting talents alongside Bruce Willis in a new film about basketball superstar Kobe Bryant. The "Stronger" hitmaker will make his film debut in "The Black Mamba", a project directed by Sin City's Robert Rodriguez and produced by bosses at sports giant Nike.
Los Angeles Lakers icon Bryant will also star, in addition to "Machete" actor Danny Trejo. Plot details have yet to be released, although West will reportedly play the antagonist in the movie. But "The Black Mamba" won't be heading to the big screen - it's part of a promotional campaign for Bryant's new line of sneakers, the Nike Air Kobe Zoom VIs. It will premiere online on February 19.
