Hit with a cup thrown by a member of the audience at his Florida concert, the rapper shouted to the crowd, 'Next (person) to throw something up here, I'ma shoot this b**ch up in here right now!'
Rapper Plies flew into a rage during a recent concert in Florida and threatened to shoot up the crowd after he was hit with a cup during his show. The star, real name Algernod Washington, was performing in Orlando earlier this week when a member of the audience threw an empty cup onstage.
Plies reacted with fury and blasted his home crowd, cursing them as he vowed to take matters into his own hands. He snarled, "I swear to God, next (person) to throw something up here, I'ma shoot this b**ch up in here right now! Next b**ch that throw something up here, they gon' get it, bro (sic)."
It's not the first time the rapper's gigs have been embroiled in controversy - a show in 2006 resulted in five concertgoers being injured after members of his entourage opened fire into the audience, and a security guard was stabbed at another club performance at Fort Myers, Florida in 2009, prompting a local councilman to call for a ban of hip-hop events in the city.
