Actor Matt Dillon played hero while waiting to check-in for a flight at Los Angeles' LAX Airport on Tuesday, January 18, by helping a woman who fainted. The "Crash" actor was queuing at the passport control desk when a female in front of him collapsed.

Dillon sprung into action, helping the woman to a nearby seat and staying by her side until paramedics arrived. She was put in an ambulance and the star made it to his flight on time, reports TMZ.com.

The woman, who works in the entertainment industry, has spoken about the incident. She said she's been sick with the flu and had no idea Dillon was the one who'd helped her. She also denied report that she slammed her head when she fell.
