The singer used to wake up every morning feeling bad about what she did the night before.
British singer Adele has quit alcohol for a second time - because she hates not remembering her drunken antics. The "Chasing Pavements" hitmaker gave up booze after her drinking led to several scrapped dates on her 2008 U.S. tour.
She reportedly took up alcohol again to help her write upcoming album 21 - but she's once again stopped the habit. Adele tells British TV host Alan Carr, "I don't drink any more. I kept waking up in the morning and my heart would sink thinking about what I did the night before. That feeling used to tear me apart every morning."
Adele also talked about how she went through a creative process. "I'm only serious on my records because I am devastated," she confessed. "I don't know how my ex feels about 21. I never talk to old boyfriends because we never end on a good note."
