Celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson's bulldog has been banned from West Hollywood, after the pooch was accused of attacking and killing another neighborhood pet last summer 2010. The dog, named Cadillac, was reportedly sent to live with Ronson's family outside of Los Angeles after the incident in August 2010, which prompted an investigation by the Department of Animal Control.
Ronson is now living in Venice, California with her dog - and she has been told to keep him away from the scene of the attack in West Hollywood. Cadillac has been determined a "dangerous dog" by city officials, who have banned him from the area, according to TMZ.com.
The DJ is scheduled to face her former neighbour, Farnouche Kamran, in court on March 2 over the dog fighting incident. Kamran is seeking $750,000 in damages, in addition to medical expenses and punitive damages, citing charges including negligence, assault and battery.
