The 'Ray' star says she and Warner are not planning to wed yet, though the things between them 'are maturing nicely.'
Actress Regina King has dismissed reports she's planning to wed former "The Cosby Show" star Malcolm-Jamal Warner, insisting they are not engaged. The pals have known each other since the 1980s, and King admits their friendship has since taken a romantic turn.
But the "Ray" star insists rumors the couple is soon heading to the alter are completely false. She tells Essence magazine, "Malcolm and I have a lot in common. We've both been child actors and were also blessed to be raised by incredible mothers who instilled good values in us. Things are maturing nicely. (But) no, we're not engaged."
King has a 15-year-old son from her previous marriage to Ian Alexander, Sr. They divorced in 2006.
